ZUNI VI TOWNHOMES ARE MOVING ALONG!

If you happen to be hanging out in Denver’s popular Lohi neighborhood, take a peek at the corner of 32nd and Zuni. The southwest corner marks the location of Lohi’s hottest new townhomes, Zuni VI. These modern, green units range from 2200 to 2600 square feet and they all offer 3 beds/4baths/2 car attached garages, and 400 square foot rooftop decks. Check out the floorplans on-line at www.zunisix.com. We only have 2 units left and they should go quickly now that construction is under way. Estimated completion is January of 2011. Denver’s Riverfront Park in running for ULI’s top award

Denver‘s Riverfront Park neighborhood development has been named a finalist for the Urban Land Institute’s 2011 Award of Excellence in the Americas. Riverfront Park is one of 20 finalists selected from 148 entries located in North and South America. The developer is East West Partners and the master planner is Design Workshop.

Here’s what ULI has to say about Riverfront Park:

“Integrated into the downtown grid of Denver and built on the site of a former rail yard, Riverfront Park is a new urban neighborhood with more than 1,400 residential units and 62,000 square feet of retail space. Designed and built under a form-based zoning code, Riverfront Park also features four parks and a landmark bridge, reclaiming the riverfront from an abandoned brownfield.”

Other finalists:

• 1706 Rittenhouse Square, a luxury condominium project in Philadelphia.

• 300 North LaSalle, a 60-story office tower in Chicago.

• Artscape Wychwood Barns, a mixed-use development in one of the oldest surviving car barns in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

• Broadway Family Apartments, low-income housing in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood.
